mythical.Journalist Jim Sciutto announced yesterday that he’s leaving ABC News after 13 years to become chief of staff and senior policy advisor to Gary Locke, US ambassador to China. Sciutto told us, “I met Ambassador Locke at the White House Correspondents Dinner this May, and we built a rapport. . . The job offer came completely out of the blue. . . It was an irresistible, once-in-a-lifetime chance.” Sciutto has reported from more than 50 countries in Europe, Asia, Latin America, Africa, the Middle East and even the Arctic Circle.
