45,000 Strong At Scout Jamboree

Boy Scouts out in force for Jamboree.
I for one am glad Obama missed it!

More than 45,000 Scouts, leaders, staff and volunteers are participating, according to the Boy Scouts website.

The Boy Scouts have held the National Jamboree at the Fort A.P. Hill base every four years since 1981, but skipped 2009 so they could convene this year for the organization's 100th anniversary. The Boy Scouts have held the quadrennial national gathering since 1937.
