SCHULTZ (07:00): Hold it right there! Before we get to her answer, I could get every union head in this country, I could organize every progressive group in this country, the main bloggers. This could be The Ed March. Folks, 300,000 people on the heels of six months' promotion, that ain't no big shakes!
Six months' promotion, NBC News says 300,000 people. I bet I could do that! I bet I could do that with this radio show and my TV show and six months' production, six months' promotion, if I had the budget I could equal that march. I know I could!
I guarantee you, I could do more than 300,000! It ain't a big deal!
Take a drink Ed, you are going to get the shakes....

Obama ( explained in one paragraph )
Van Helsing over at Moonbattery nails it in one paragraph......
Indeed!
There is no way an unqualified candidate with a communist/Muslim background and numerous radical associations could be made President of the United States without having been placed in that position by the establishment media. Any sort of impartial media would have reduced the Manchurian Moonbat to a laughing stock before his campaign ever got off the ground.Bought and paid for by the usual suspects.

WASHINGTON – If Democrats had doubts about the voter unrest that threatens to rob them of their majority in Congress, they needed only look from the Capitol this weekend to the opposite end of the National Mall.
It's where Ken Ratliff joined tens of thousands of other anti-government activists at the foot of the Lincoln Memorial for conservative commentator Glenn Beck's "Restoring Honor" rally.
"There's gotta' be a change, man," said Ratliff, a 55-year-old Marine veteran from Rochester, N.Y.Voter unrest?

Palin Hits Home Run

And from the very distraught AP.
WASHINGTON – Conservative commentator Glenn Beck and tea party champion Sarah Palin appealed Saturday to a vast, predominantly white crowd on the National Mall to help restore traditional American values and honor Martin Luther King's message. Civil rights leaders who accused the group of hijacking King's legacy held their own rally and march.
While Beck billed his event as nonpolitical, conservative activists said their show of strength was a clear sign that they can swing elections because much of the country is angry with what many voters call an out-of-touch Washington.
Palin told the tens of thousands who stretched from the marble steps of the Lincoln Memorial to the grass of the Washington Monument that calls to transform the country weren't enough. "We must restore America and restore her honor," said the former Alaska governor, echoing the name of the rally, "Restoring Honor."3,000 at Al Sharpton's race baiting clinic, 500,000 at a peaceful get back to the founding principles of our country ( and yes, that includes GOD ) rally........
You just know the there are some democRATS on suicide watch tonight.

State Department Takes Its Turn Against AZ (Brewer will win this too)
This is just shameful.

From ABC news.
And such a fine picture in their
Arizona Gov. Jan Brewer demanded Friday that a reference to the state’s controversial immigration law be removed from a State Department report to the United Nations’ human rights commissioner. The U.S. included its legal challenge to the law on a list of ways the federal government is protecting human rights. In a letter to Secretary of State Hillary Clinton, Brewer says it is “downright offensive” that a state law would be included in the report, which was drafted as part of a UN review of human rights in all member nations every four years.
“The idea of our own American government submitting the duly enacted laws of a state of the United States to ‘review’ by the United Nations is internationalism run amok and unconstitutional,” Brewer wrote.Downright offensive?

More Recovery Summer Results
Yikes.

And for more good news, even Obama's supporters are jumping ship......
From Randall Hoven.
And today the GDP numbers come out, and while I am not a big fan of CNBC's Jim Cramer, he may be right about mass panic, when more recovery summer stats are released."The end of lucrative tax credits in April took their toll on housing, sending existing-home sales in July to their lowest level in more than a decade... The number was supposed to be weak. It was just worse than anyone expected. Paul Dale, a U.S. economist for Capital Economics, called the report ‘eye-wateringly weak.'" MSN, Aug. 24, 2010.

72% Of America Comes To Their Senses
Uh, time to stop this mosque nonsense.....(Hello Bloomberg? Democrats? Media?)
(CBS News)- A majority of Americans don’t think it is appropriate to build a mosque and Islamic cultural center two blocks from the site of the 9/11 terrorist attacks on the World Trade Center, according to a new CBS News poll.
Nearly three of four Americans — 72 percent — say building a mosque so close to the site is not appropriate while just 22 percent say it is appropriate.Game over. 72% is not a insignificant number.

Good grief.
CBO says economic stimulus program created 3.3 million jobs last quarter?
From Bloomberg.
President Barack Obama’s stimulus package may have created or saved as many as 3.3 million jobs last quarter and lowered the unemployment rate by as much as 1.8 percentage points, the Congressional Budget Office said. What?
The $814 billion program, known as the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act, or ARRA, probably added between 1.7 percent and 4.5 percent to gross domestic product for the three months through June, the nonpartisan agency said in a report issued yesterday.Oh I see the key word there, "may" have created. Any bets the media will report this as fact?
