Obama At The Bat

Too good not to share, tipped to it by a great commenter(LBH) at Say Anything. A great way to top off a great American holiday! (After you remember those who gave so much)
Enjoy.

With Sara throwing heat!
It came from here.

74% Have A Favorable View Of Our Military

I still wonder why so many have a favorable view of their Commander In Chief.....
This is the first President in history that despises the military!
Image and video hosting by TinyPic
74% Have Favorable Opinion of U.S. Military, so says Rasmussen.
Be thankful the American citizens know more about honor than the MSM would lead you to believe.
The President thought it more fitting to spend time with Louis Farrakhan (noted racist and Muslim nutjob) than to pay tribute to the fallen at Arlington. Tells me all I need to know about his love of the military.
Atlas Shrugs has more on this!

Memorial Day, However You Celebrate It, Be A Part Of The Remembrance

I never served, didn't have to, didn't want to (wish now I did). But I damn sure remember those who did, and those who still are.
A parade, a barbecue, a trip to the cemetery, (never forget the fallen) however you decide. Be a part of the remembrance!

Governor Brewer Bars AZ AttorneyGeneral(d-rat) From Immigration Case

This Governor is going places. I hope she has bigger plans.
Image and video hosting by TinyPic
She wants no part of her AG in collusion with Eric Holder. And she has the wits to know it is coming!
The governor's abrupt action against Terry Goddard, her likely Democratic opponent in this fall's gubernatorial election, came after months of disputes between the two and at the end of a long day of legal maneuvering in both Arizona and the nation's capital.
As the state's chief lawyer, Goddard would be expected to take the lead in defending Arizona against....challenges to the Legislature's action, which erupted after years of state frustration with the federal government's inability to secure the state border with Mexico against illegal immigrants, drugs and criminals.
However, Goddard has vocally opposed the measure, so much so that the Legislature gave the governor advance authority to hire outside legal counsel. On Friday, Goddard met with the Obama administration's Atty. Gen. Eric Holder in Washington, then held a news conference just hours before Brewer's handpicked attorneys were to meet with Holder, an outspoken critic of the law.
Brewer said, "I believe the federal government should use its legal resources to fight illegal immigration, not the State of Arizona."Seeing apparent collusion between the two Democrat lawyers, Brewer pulled the plug Friday night.
Bravo!

The Smell Test, Uh, Stinks

Of course the only man with actual experience "lying under oath" was in the mix!
Image and video hosting by TinyPic
NRO — A tip of the cap to White House counsel on preparing a memo that, on its face, would appear to let a bit of air out of charges of wrongdoing. But some of it just isn’t scanning.
Let’s look back at what Rep. Sestak told local TV host Larry Kane in February.
KANE: “Were you ever offered a federal job to get out of this race?”
SESTAK: “Yes.KANE: “Was it secretary of the Navy?
SESTAK: “No comment”
Later Kane asks again, “Was there a job offered to you by the White House?” to which Sestak nods and replies “yes, someone offered it.”Kane asks “It was big right?” Sestak replies, “Let me “no comment” on it.”“Was it high-ranking?” Kane asked. Sestak said yes.
Just a bit  odiferous to me...........

Sunday Morning Coming Down

This probably belongs in a Friday night funny post.
Image and video hosting by TinyPic
The best part of Rasmussen's poll is what folks think of Congress.
72% think Congress is clueless on the economy.
Just 27% are even somewhat confident that Congress knows what it’s doing when addressing that nation’s economic challenges. That figure includes only 6% who are Very Confident that Congress knows what it’s doing.Forty-one percent (41%) of voters say that a group of people randomly selected from the phone book would do a better job than the current Congress. Thirty-eight percent (38%) disagree.

Put me in that 41% column.

Mexico, A Tourist Destination. (unless you are from Arizona)

This should backfire shortly! First their President tells the US Congress how we should enforce "our" laws (to the cheers of the democRATS) and now this.

Barney The "Frank" Rewrites History

Barney the "Frank" just lies (and not very well either).
Image and video hosting by TinyPic

Barney the "Frank" June 27 2005- On the house floor
"We have, I think, an excessive degree of concern right now about home ownership and it's role in the economy. Obviously speculation is never a good thing. But those who argue that housing prices are now at the point of a bubble seem to me to be missing a very important point. Unlike previous examples we have had where substantial excessive inflation of prices later caused some problems. We are talking here about an entity, home ownership, homes, where there is not the degree of leverage that we have seen elsewhere. This is not the dot com situation. We had problems with people having invested in business plans for which there was no reality, with people building fiber optic cable for which there was no need. Homes that are occupied may see an ebb and flow in the price at a certain percentage level but you're not going to see a collapse that you see when people talk about a bubble. So those of us on our committee in particular will continue to push toward home ownership."
But on May 20, 2010 on CNBC the "Frank" said this.
Barney was a major player in the fannie and freddie fiasco's. Deny all you want "Frank", it still won't change reality.

Number Of Az Residents Who Support Immigration Law Up To 71%

Obama thinks it is flawed and not very American. Uh, I think 71% is a whole lot of folks who don't agree with you anymore!
A new Rasmussen Reports telephone survey of Likely Voters in Arizona finds that 71% now favor the immigration law, while 24% oppose it.
In late April, the law was supported by 64% of the state’s voters and opposed by 30%

A Tea Party Takeover?

The Tea Party folks will take over if this big spending, party switching, self centered, washed up old fool is not elected again to the senate. So says Arlen Specter (D- RAT) from PA.
Image and video hosting by TinyPic
Politico
“What you see happening across the country is that the tea party organization has taken over,” Specter said in an interview with MSNBC's Andrea Mitchell.“We know what happened to [Sen. Bob] Bennett [R-Utah], what happened to [Florida GOP Gov. Charlie] Crist,” Specter said.“They drove him out of the Republican Party,” Specter said of Crist, now running for the Senate as an independent in Florida.Specter fled the Republican Party after polls showed the conservative grass-roots support behind former Rep. Pat Toomey (R-Pa.) would likely be enough to propel him to a primary win over the longtime senator.

Wow, imagine people voting for smaller government, states rights, and less taxes! Imagine that.
Please PA, give the 80 year old lifer the boot!

Government Motors, Er General Motors Wants More Subrime Buyers

Image and video hosting by TinyPic
Well this is interesting, especially since GM is run by the Government and Obama's auto task force!
DETROIT (AP) -- If your credit isn't good, General Motors Co. still wants to sell you a car.The problem is, it can't. At least not in big numbers. That's why the automaker wants more control over its lending again.GM's top North American executive Mark Reuss, under pressure to quickly sell more cars and boost GM's value as it gets ready to sell stock to the public, said a shortage of subprime lending is holding back sales in the U.S.
I thought this was how the housing problem started, by Government insisting on risky loans to people who could never pay them back. All under the guise of affordable housing. Is the Government going to do it again with new cars? If a lender steps up and backs this boondoggle in the making, keep a close eye on that lender and see if it has Tarp tentacles  or is affiliated with some one who does.

I am not exactly sure why the above pictured auto (sub-compact/prime) would not be affordable to just about anyone, unless the teleprompter's carry a hefty price tag. But it is Government Motors! Heh.

Brrrrrrrr, About That Global Warming Thing.....

Image and video hosting by TinyPic
(Discovery)
The leading independent research organization in the US on the subject of climate change issued a warning this week of imminent food and ethanol shortages due to global cooling.

Uh, global cooling? WTF? We have been told for at least the last six years our planet was going to burn up if we did not act NOW!
Must be why Algore was given another honorary doctorate in hoaxology.
The Space and Science Research Center (SSRC), the leading independent research organization in the United States on the subject of the next climate change, issues today the following warning of imminent crop damage expected to produce food and ethanol shortages for the US and Canada.
You can't make this stuff up!
Reminds me of a 1975 or 76 issue of Time or Newsweek, or whatever liberal rag that was.
