(Rasmussen)- The latest Rasmussen Reports telephone survey of Likely Voters in Florida shows Marco Rubio attracting 40% of the vote, while Charlie Crist picks up 30% in the race to become the state’s next U.S. senator. The new Democratic nominee Kendrick Meek earns 21% support.
This is the first poll of the race following Tuesday’s primary. Four percent (4%) prefer some other candidate, and five percent (5%) are undecided.
In the last survey before the primary, it was Rubio at 38%, Crist at 33% and Meek 21%.

(CBS News)- A majority of Americans don’t think it is appropriate to build a mosque and Islamic cultural center two blocks from the site of the 9/11 terrorist attacks on the World Trade Center, according to a new CBS News poll.

Nearly three of four Americans — 72 percent — say building a mosque so close to the site is not appropriate while just 22 percent say it is appropriate.

Game over. 72% is not a insignificant number.

CBO says economic stimulus program created 3.3 million jobs last quarter?

President Barack Obama’s stimulus package may have created or saved as many as 3.3 million jobs last quarter and lowered the unemployment rate by as much as 1.8 percentage points, the Congressional Budget Office said.

What?

The $814 billion program, known as the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act, or ARRA, probably added between 1.7 percent and 4.5 percent to gross domestic product for the three months through June, the nonpartisan agency said in a report issued yesterday.

Oh I see the key word there, "may" have created. Any bets the media will report this as fact?
